Outdoor Voices is looking for a Brand Director to drive our brand planning process and create fully integrated upper and mid funnel marketing strategies and programs. In this role, you will bring OV’s brand to life across all brand channels, utilizing the full marketing mix. You will work collaboratively with retention, retail, ecomm and conversion teams to align brand initiatives to business goals and grow the #DoingThings community.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop OV’s brand positioning and bring compelling brand marketing campaigns to life, harmonizing a clear brand message a across all channels
  • Develop an OV Brand lens to utilize for brand-right decision making
  • Manage top of funnel growth channels (paid & organic editorial content, experiential initiatives etc)
  • Identify and manage external partner and collaboration concepts that meet company objectives, and support with planning and execution
  • Manage and lead brand marketing teams with clear accountabilities, priorities, and goals
  • Write detailed marketing and creative briefs that align channel owners and cross functional partners with KPI oriented outcomes
  • Own the Marketing planning process. Set objectives and deliver short and long-term strategies to meet these objectives
  • Empower teams across the business by creating visibility into brand marketing plans and strategy through clear communication and calendaring
  • Identify new and creative ways to tell the OV brand story tailored to reach target consumers
  • Contribute to new strategies for brand and category innovation to unlock brand opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of brand marketing experience either on the agency side or in-house with a brand
  • 2+ years people leadership of 4+ person teams
  • Brand marketing experience across the full marketing funnel
  • Experience creating comprehensive marketing plans that are integrated across multiple consumer touch points, including e-commerce and stores
  • Experience writing briefs and managing projects across multiple teams and departments with an outcomes orientation
  • A creative eye and genuine curiosity for new opportunities to connect with our community
  • Excellent presentations skills
