Outdoor Voices is looking for an Art Director to head up the visual identity, and lead a team of designers for the development and delivery of all visual elements of the brand. In this role, you will maintain brand graphics across all touch points, online, in-store.

Responsibilities:

  • Own OV’s visual brand identity across graphic design, eCommerce ideation, and creative concepting on different execution points
  • Ensure the consistency of visual guidelines across all applications of OV’s graphic identity including digital, interaction design, print, packaging, and in-store collateral
  • Work closely with all partners from concept through delivery of creative campaigns that embody the OV brand and achieves business goals
  • Connect product aesthetic and style details to the overall creative identity of the brand
  • Grow and maintain a network of freelance and creative production resources
  • Manage in house creative resources (graphic design, etc) as needed

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience managing the entire creative ecosystem, including design, photography, and production
  • Experience managing a team and working collaboratively with partners
  • Experience in physical design including packaging, offset printing, and publishing a plus
  • Experience in design integration, typography, and interactive interface design
  • Comprehensive understanding of internet standards and interactivity (color, typeface, etc)
  • Portfolio of brand campaigns inclusive of e-commerce, stores, email, social, and paid advertising
  • Experience with an apparel, DTC, retail or lifestyle brand is a plus
  • Appreciation of the balance between creativity and commerce
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to articulate creative vision and concepts to cross functional groups
