The Director of Sales and Retail Experience will be responsible for supporting retail staff, bringing our brand and mission to life, and optimizing the customer experience offline. You have the ability to bring our brand to physical spaces and retail experiences, and you bring a people-first mentality to leading retail teams and driving successful sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • You are able to lead a successful results oriented team
  • Optimize the customer journey throughout existing and new physical shop locations
  • Nurture creative “entrepreneurial mindset” management in OV store managers
  • Deliver exceptional retail experiences to our customers through visual presentation, branding, music, lighting, window displays, and signage - you will create and maintain brand guidelines for visual shop expectations
  • Lead talent development programs for our store teams
  • Partner with the Merchandising and Allocation teams to communicate product rotation needs for stores and other offline channels
  • Collaborate with Store Design & Development during the new store buildout process and future construction updates to optimize the customer journey
  • Ensure air-tight alignment with eComm and Marketing on creative content and product messaging between online and offline channels

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Retail people management experience
  • Experience leading commission driven teams and individuals
  • Proven success in generating sales outcomes and entrepreneurial teams
  • Experience successfully managing in-store marketing and nurturing teams for existing stores and new store openings
  • Experience creating store marketing programs that enhance the customer journey through product and campaign messaging
  • Ability to creatively problem-solve and react quickly to address business concerns
  • Strong balance of commercial and creative skills
  • A keen eye for quality and attention to detail
