Help us build and grow Outdoor Voices as our Chief Marketing Officer and together we can get the world moving! This role is ideal for an ambitious, creative and strategic people leader who is adept at crafting and driving teams toward efficient full funnel and omnichannel growth. This isn’t just a bunch of buzzwords, we are looking for a big bold thinker who has a proven record of engaging teams and building brands. You have digital, direct-to-consumer experience in house at a premium brand and/or at an agency that manages them, and are experienced with maintaining brand integrity and achieving growth. As a member of Outdoor Voices’ executive team, you will serve an important role in OV’s growth trajectory through the long-term strategies you will implement.

Responsibilities

  • Build organic brand through creative scalable content and community strategies
  • Lead and be accountable for the strategy and results of brand positioning and campaigns, harmonizing a clear brand message across all channels, online and off
  • Work cross functionally to establish a roadmap for revenue driving growth through strategic business planning and forecasting
  • Lead business analysis projects, present transparent insights on performance, and use data to inform decisions for improvements
  • Create a process playbook for compelling brand marketing/advertising campaigns to come to life, ensuring campaigns are on-brand, and optimized at different times for experience, press coverage, brand sentiment shifts, engagement, and overall sales impact
  • Craft a budget and manage the team to a tightly planned P&L and KPI’s
  • Provide visibility into the Marketing organization’s operations and strategy to empower other teams through clear communication and calendaring
  • Build a clear view and understanding of the Outdoor Voices target customer and tailor our marketing programs to reflect the data set
  • Implement customer segmentation and localization efforts for international audiences
  • Select and structure deals with brand partners to create healthy, long-term relationships that increase reach and amplify brand perception and influence
  • Be accountable for retail, conversions, ecomm, brand, creative and community teams
  • Be a Player/Coach, providing hands-on leadership to build and motivate a top-performing team
  • Partner with the other leaders across the company to develop our forward-looking company strategy and build a culture of cohesion and inclusion

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of premium omnichannel Marketing leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 + years of P&L management experience
  • Experience leading a team of 10+ people across creative and analytical functions
  • Team leadership experience utilizing data to set and monitor goals, measure success, and provide visibility into team performance
  • Business and financial acumen combined with KPI-oriented analytical skills that maximize marketing efficiency
  • A creative strategist who loves out of the box thinking and adapting new ideas to achieve goals
  • Experience growing a business and marketing a brand $100m+ revenue
  • Holistic brand thinker who appreciates and invests in the entire process, from making a physical product to marketing to merchandising to driving loyalty
  • A creative eye and genuine curiosity for new opportunities to connect with our community and grow the business
  • Low ego, collaborative leadership style
  • DTC or or activewear experience a plus
