The Inbound Operations & Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring on-time delivery of OV product from our manufacturers to our fulfillment center and retail stores. Reporting to the Director of Operations & Logistics, you’ll support our mission to get the world moving by getting Outdoor Voices’ product from creation to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the movement of OV product leaving our manufacturers from booking the freight to ensuring on-time delivery at our fulfillment center and retail stores
- Monitor internal systems to track orders, arrival dates, and inventory levels; proactively communicate changes to internal stakeholders
- Work closely with our fulfillment center to ensure inventory is received and stocked in accordance with our contractual SLA and notify our fulfillment center of hot shipments
- Maintain the data in our ERP system and internal documents such as tracking number updates, PO tags, product weights, and freight type (air v. ocean)
- Review invoices from our inbound logistics providers for accuracy, and escalate / resolve discrepancies as needed
- Validate HTS codes are being recorded and used correctly by vendors
- Support merchants with 3p relationships, assess our partners with chargebacks where they fail to adhere to our compliance guide
- Validate and audit all inbound commercial documents for accuracy and completeness
- Work cross functionally to keep all compliance, vendor, and SOP guides up to date across the entire supply chain
- Maintain a vendor scorecard based on routing guide requirements being met
- Ensure we manage to our inbound ship mode targets
- Support outbound logistics during certain peak events
Qualifications:
- 1+ years related experience in operations/logistics or project management
- Proficient in Excel and GoogleSheets, experience using vlookups and pivot tables a plus
- Creative problem solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong project management skills with the ability to respond to rapid changes and multiple priorities
- Knowledge of Netsuite and ERP systems a plus
- Apparel industry experience a plus
